I love Peanut Butter and would readily eat it every day if the high fat content would not migrate to my belly or hips. My ultimate comfort food! However, two tablespoons equals 200 calories with a whopping 16 grams of fat. I could measure out a scant teaspoon, but who am I kidding, once the jar is out it’s hard to hold back. So what is a peanut butter lovin’ gal to do???
PB2 is the answer I’ve been waiting for. PB2 has all that roasted peanut goodness with 85% of the fat removed. (The oil is extracted through a process that does not include chemicals.) It is even the same consistency as full-fat peanut butter. At a mere 45 calories per 2 tablespoon serving (and only 1.5 grams of fat), you can generously spread it on your whole-grain or gluten-free bread. I’m sure it would be delish in a smoothie!!
I was skeptical at first because PB2 is powdered peanut butter, but once I mixed in 1 tablespoon of water to 2 tablespoons of powder I was totally pleased with the results. Creamy and the mouth feel of real peanut butter, you know that “stick to the roof of your mouth feeling”.
PB2 contains no artificial sweeteners or preservatives and only includes three ingredients; roasted peanuts, and a very small amount of sugar and salt. It also comes in two varieties, original and premium chocolate. I purchased mine at Whole Foods, but you can buy online as well.
PB2 gets two spoons up in my book. Thanks to PB2, I can have my peanut butter and enjoy it too!!!

This is exciting Cindy! And I trust you did your due diligence that it will be good for us! I look forward to giving it a try. Sounds like it will be fun for my kids to mix up, too. Happy, Happy Valentine’s Day and thank you for all that you do!

I was originally skeptical of this product, but there is minimal ingredients and processing. Low fat, and yummy!! Is it the real deal, no, but pretty darn close. Happy Valentine’s Day to you too!!
I have use this product occasionally in the past but just recently purchased a new container for use in morning oatmeal and smoothies. I just have to stay away from the real thing! It’s not as flavorful as the real deal, but I’m happy to avoid the fat and calories of the real deal!
Wendy, my sentiments exactly!! I’d rather stay away from the fat and calorie content in peanut butter. I just bought 4 containers at Whole Foods because whenever I love a product, they stop making it..
